Squamish Mamquam Corridor Trail Lighting
The District of Squamish and Fraser City Installations have added additional lighting to the Corridor trail. New lighting will connect the previously lit sections and further the District’s goal of building infrastructure for all ages and abilities. Squamish would like to encourage active transportation and provide alternatives to driving. Fraser City has installed new LED fixtures along Highway 99 between Mamquam Road and the Highway 99 Mamquam Bridge.
The District’s vision for the Corridor Trail is to create a 3m wide, paved and lit path for the entire length of the trail, from the north to south ends of Squamish. Fraser City is proud to light the Mamquam section and get them closer to achieving this vision.
